PE Polyethylene Overview
Polyethylene (PE) is the world's highest-volume plastic, available in several density grades. LLDPE (Linear Low Density Polyethylene) offers excellent film strength and clarity — Shenhua 7042 is China's benchmark film resin. HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) provides rigidity and chemical resistance for blow-molded containers and pipe.
Physical Characteristics: Milky white waxy pellets with a slippery feel. LLDPE has a soft texture (film grade) with a matte surface. HDPE is relatively rigid (blow molding grade), also with a matte surface. Both can float on water.
